Buying a used car is a great way to save thousands of dollars. However, used cars always come with a bit of risk since you don't always know the full history of the car or know about potential hidden problems. One way to avoid most of those risks and still save a lot of money is by choosing a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) from Ford. Here are a few of the benefits these models come with. Browse our current inventory of CPO vehicles when you stop by Titus-Will Ford in Tacoma, WA. We'll help match you with the right model to suit your driving needs and preferences.

Qualifications
In order to qualify for the CPO program, a used Ford model must be within five model years old and have fewer than 80,000 miles. It also needs to have a clean title.

172-Point Inspection
Before a used Ford can become a Certified Pre-Owned Ford, it goes through an extensive 172-point inspection. This covers most components in the car. If a car fails the inspection, it does not earn a certified status.

CARFAX® Vehicle History Report
All CPO Ford models come with a complimentary CARFAX® Vehicle History Report. This will show you the vehicle's ownership history and some of its service history.

Warranty Coverage
One of the biggest benefits to buying a CPO over a traditional used car is the warranty coverage. A Ford CPO model comes with two warranties. It comes with the remainder of its original 7-year/100,000-mile Powertrain Limited Warranty. Then, it comes with an additional 12-month/12,000-miles Comprehensive Limited Warranty. Warranty repairs only come with a $100 deductible so you can keep repair costs down.

Roadside Assistance
Your CPO Ford is protected by Roadside Assistance for the duration of your Comprehensive warranty. You can get the help you need 24/7 for blowouts, breakdowns, and even bad weather. In case you get stranded away from home, roadside assistance also includes up to $500 reimbursement for a rental vehicle, meals, and lodging for up to three days.
