2013 Ford Transit Connect

Ford set out to create the perfect commercial vehicle for small and midsized business when it created the 2013 Ford Transit Connect. The all-new commercial van places a premium on fuel efficiency, while still delivering enough power to tackle any job a business owner throws its way.

The 2013 Ford Transit connect is powered by a 2.0-liter Duratec DOHC four-cylinder engine that is able to return 22 mpg city and 27 mpg highway. Ford knows that commercial vans have to been able to move products, so the automaker’s four-cylinder engine generates 136 horsepower and 128 lb-ft of torque. The performance figures allow the Transit Connect to carry a maximum payload of 1,600 lbs.

With 129.6 cu. ft. of cargo space, the 2013 Transit Connect is able to accommodate objects up to 6’ long, 4’wide and almost 5’ tall.

Ford has loaded the 2013 Transit Connect with features that help small business function and keeps their cargo safe. The 2013 Ford Transit Connect is equipped with a rear view camera with a reverse sensing system. The voice-activated SYNC system allows drivers to access their entertainment and smarthphone information just by asking aloud for it.
